Developing Youth Community Ministry
Through funding from the LBA Home Mission Fund, we will be assisting churches in developing their youth departments and youth community involvement within their communities. Together we will create and provide home mission opportunities and collaboration with other churches/youth providers: to create an enriched youth network that actively reaches into the mission field and changes the atmosphere. This is an opportunity for struggling churches to develop fruitful youth foundations and mission work with an organisation who are dedicated to seeing young people grow and fulfil their potential in Christ.
Working with churches that have no or a small youth department or with those that want to restructure and form strategies: our aim is to be able to support them in their growth as a team. We’ll help them reach out to young people and retain the ones they have, ensuring they are integrated into main church life & leadership opportunities, all with a focus on mission; reaching the community of young people around -meeting their needs and sharing the gospel in a real, fun and practical way.
